You don’t just need photos — you need clarity

You don’t need to show up with everything figured out. My job isn’t just to take photos — it’s to help your brand look like it feels.

  • If you’re not sure what to post: we plan a shot list that fits your brand and content needs.

  • If your visuals feel inconsistent: cohesive lighting + editing so your website and socials look intentional.

  • If you feel awkward on camera: I guide you the whole time — you don’t need to “perform.”

  • If you want your business to look legit fast: you leave with a polished library that’s ready to market. Calgary branding photography, Calgary business portraits

How a branding shoot works

  • 1. Discovery Call & Consultation

Before we even touch the camera, we start with a conversation. This is where I get to know:

    • Your business, brand values, and goals

    • The platforms you’ll be using your images on (Instagram, LinkedIn, website, ads, etc.)

    • Your personal style, audience, and vision

    • Think of this as laying the foundation for images that don’t just look great, but actually work for your business.

  • 2. Brand Strategy & Creative Planning

Next comes the creative planning, this is where the magic begins. We define your visual style, choose the right location, outfits, props, and background elements, and build a custom shot list. Every photo has a purpose: website banners, social media, marketing, profiles, and more.

This stage ensures your images are versatile—perfect for everything from your About Me page to your next social media campaign.

  • 3. Photoshoot

On shoot day, I guide you through everything so you don’t have to worry about posing or “what to do with my hands”. I’ll make sure you feel confident, relaxed, and natural.

We’ll move through different setups, expressions, and angles to create a versatile gallery. Focus on storytelling (working shots, candid moments, and detail photos that showcase your brand personality)

  • 4. Post-Production & Retouching

After the session, your images go through professional retouching and color grading to match your brand style. You’ll receive a polished, cohesive collection of photos you can use across your website, social media, and marketing materials.

  • The Result?

A visual identity that feels authentic, professional, and unmistakably you — designed to attract the right clients and elevate your brand.

Brand consistency

So your feed and website look intentional, not like 7 different shoots.

Your audience connects visually first — before they read a word about what you do. Great visuals instantly communicate professionalism, confidence, and trust.

Professional branding photography not only makes you look polished and trustworthy, it also:

  • Boosts engagement on social media

  • Helps your website convert visitors into clients

  • Builds consistency and professionalism in your marketing

  • Saves you time by giving you a content library to pull from anytime

  • Improves your visibility in local Calgary searches (Google loves active, visual businesses)

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely. Most clients don’t show up with a perfect plan, and you don’t need to as well. We’ll do a quick call or message to align on your goals (website, social, Google Business Profile, ads), then I’ll help shape a simple shot list. The whole point is that this feels collaborative — you bring the business, I’ll help translate it into visuals.

  • After booking, I’ll send prep guidance with outfit tips based on your role, industry, and the vibe you want (approachable, premium, bold, clean, etc.). In general: choose solid colors, avoid busy patterns, and bring 2–3 options.

  • Both. Studio is great for clean, controlled portraits. On-location is perfect if you want your brand to feel real and specific (your workspace, storefront, office, gym, clinic, etc.).

Studio rental (if needed) is additional and depends on the space. I’ll confirm the exact cost before you book.

  • Yes — and the goal is polished, not plastic. I’ll clean up distractions and keep skin texture natural. Branding images should feel like you on your best day — professional and real.

  • It depends on the session type and what you need the photos for. Most branding clients want enough variety to cover their website plus weeks of content — not just “a few nice photos.”
When you inquire, tell me where you’ll use the images and how often you post, and I’ll recommend a realistic number.

  • Most branding galleries are delivered within 1-2 weeks after you select your favorites. If you’re working with a launch date, let me know — I can often plan around deadlines with an expedited option.

  • I don’t deliver unedited RAW files. RAWs are unfinished and don’t represent the final quality and style you’re hiring me for.

  • Branding photography pricing depends on the scope and value provided — how much content you need, number of locations/outfits, and whether it’s just personal branding or a broader commercial project. My personal branding session starts at $600.

Tell me your goal and timeline, and I’ll recommend the right session and give you a clear quote.

  • Personal branding photography focuses on you — the face of the business — with images for LinkedIn, your website, and social content.

Commercial photography is broader: it can include your team, workspace, services in action, products, and the overall “feel” of your brand.

As a professional photographer, I can help you choose the right mix based on how you’ll actually use the images.
